Navi Mumbai: Shocking Murder On Shiravne Village Main Road; Accused Abscond After The Incident
Navi Mumbai, 20th July 2023: A horrifying incident happened yesterday afternoon when a youth was killed on the main road of Shiravne village amidst a heated altercation between him and the accused. What makes the situation even more distressing is the fact that, despite being surrounded by onlookers, no one intervened to prevent the tragic outcome. The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Govind Ramanna Srirangkure, and the police are now searching for the absconding accused.
Both the deceased youth and the accused were known to be employed as operators of JCB machines. Yesterday afternoon, both were heavily drunk when a dispute broke out between them, escalating into a violent confrontation. The altercation began with a verbal exchange and soon turned physical. Arguing in a drunken state, both of them came to the main road of Shiravne village.
During the course of the fight, the accused allegedly seized a brick lying nearby on the roadside and hit Govind on the head. The brutal blow caused him to collapse instantly, screaming for help. Tragically, he lost his life on the spot.
After the incident, the accused fled from there, right in front of the gathered onlookers. The police have swiftly registered a case of murder against the unidentified assailant and launched an intensive search operation to apprehend him.
A Senior Police Inspector, Sambhaji Bhagat, informed that a case of murder has been registered against the accused and he is being traced.
