Dalljiet Kaur Thanks Mumbai Police for Support Amidst Extramarital Affair Allegations

Mumbai, 5th August 2024: TV actress Dalljiet Kaur and her estranged husband, Nikhil Patel, have been making headlines due to allegations of an extramarital affair. Nikhil, who is based in Kenya, recently travelled to Mumbai following threats of legal action over Dalljiet’s social media posts suggesting he had been unfaithful. Amidst these ongoing separation rumours, Dalljiet has shared a detailed Instagram post about her experience filing an FIR against Nikhil.

In her Instagram update on Sunday, Dalljiet expressed her gratitude towards the Mumbai Police, stating, “A heartfelt thanks to Joint Commissioner of Police Anil Paraska for his exceptional support. I appreciate the efficiency and kindness of the AGRIPADA Police Station. Your swift action made me feel heard and secure.”

She further noted, “Deputy Commissioner of Police Krishnakant Sir listened to me with great patience, and Senior Inspector Yogendra Pache Sir at Agripada Police Station addressed the situation thoroughly. They even provided us with water to calm down, ensuring that we felt comfortable and safe. Investigating Officer Sachin Shelke Sir handled the FIR with remarkable patience and empathy. A lady constable was present throughout the filing process, ensuring a supportive environment.”

Dalljiet concluded, “I now believe that when you stand on the side of truth and the law, the Indian Police will support and empower you. I am confident that women in our country are protected.”

According to a recent report, Dalljiet filed an FIR on August 2 against Nikhil, alleging cruelty and criminal breach of trust. Previously, Nikhil had sent Dalljiet a legal notice in response to her Instagram posts accusing him of infidelity. He also mentioned that he would donate her belongings to charity if she did not retrieve them from his home in Kenya. Nikhil was recently seen at Mumbai airport with his girlfriend, Safeena Nazar.

Speculation about the breakdown of Dalljiet and Nikhil’s marriage began in February when they unfollowed each other on social media and removed their joint posts. They married in March 2023. In May 2024, Nikhil addressed the affair allegations and confirmed their separation in an interview. He explained that Dalljiet’s decision to move back to India with their son, Jaydon, in January 2024 led to their split.
