ED arrests former Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey

Mumbai, 19th July 2022: Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He is accused of illegally recording the calls of NSE employees.

Pandey retired on June 30. He is accused of illegally recording phone calls of NSE employees between 2009 and 2017.

For this, a company named iSEC Services Pvt Ltd gave him Rs 4.45 crore, it has been alleged.
