Maharashtra CM Shinde And Deputy CM Fadnavis Meet PM Modi

New Delhi, 9th July 2022: Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in New Delhi. This is Shinde’s first meeting with the PM after the formation of the new State Government in Maharashtra.

 

The Prime Minister’s Office said on Twitter, “The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Lok Kalyan Marg residence, and they sought PM Modi’s “blessings and guidance” for the development of Maharashtra.

Shinde said, “Many projects such as Samruddhi Expressway connecting Mumbai and Nagpur, metro rail in cities, and digging farm ponds to boost irrigation, which was initiated by Fadnavis, but was delayed by the Uddhav Thackeray Government, will be put on fast-track.”
