Maharashtra Reports 32 New Covid Cases On Sunday

Mumbai, 26th December 2022: On Sunday, Maharashtra reported 32 new cases of Covid-19 but no deaths, including nine instances in Mumbai alone. The state’s caseload now stands at 81,36,511, while the number of fatalities is 1,48,415. Currently, there are 148 ongoing Covid-19 cases in the state, 50 of which are in Mumbai.

On Sunday, 20 Covid-19 patients across Maharashtra recovered, raising the state’s recovery rate to 98.17 per cent. The percentage of positive feedback is 0.34. Covid-19 tests have been administered in the state a total of 8,58,61,429 times, with a 9.48 per cent overall positivity rate. The number of Covid-19 cases as a percentage of all tests performed is known as the positive rate.

Pune recorded the second-highest number of Covid-19 cases, with seven, behind Mumbai. In the meantime, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation reported two new Covid-19 instances, while Nagpur Municipal Corporation reported three new cases.

Thane Municipal Corporation and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) each reported one incidence of Covid-19 in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
