MNS Mock Shiv Sena with Banners Saying ‘You Split Six of Our Corporators in 2017, Shinde Split 36 of Your MLAs, How Do You Feel Now?’

Mumbai, 24th June 2022: Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde’s revolt has led to a split in the Shiv Sena. Upon the split, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) started mocking Shiv Sena upon the trembling.

MNS Chandivali assembly president Mahendra Bhanushali tried to pull down the Shiv Sena image through banners. Banners with photos of Raj Thackeray and Ram Mandir in Ayodhya have been flashed in the constituency. Upon the split, the banners said, “During the time, Raj saheb’s corporators were split, how do you feel now?”

There were seven MNS corporators in Mumbai Municipal Corporation in 2017, but the Shiv Sena had split the group of six corporators. Bhanushali tried to mock that political move through these banners.

Speaking to the media in this regard, Bhanushali said, “I am a loyal activist and a true Rajbhakta. In 2017, they were constantly telling us that if six corporators left, the MNS would be finished. But as you sow, so shall you reap. Eknath Shinde took away 36 of their MLAs. That’s six times the corporators they took away. This means that they have been hit six times by God.”

He added, “During recent weeks, there was news running that we have turned to false Hindutva from being a true Hindutva. The whole of India saw Raj Thackeray as a staunch pro-Hindu leader. But the situation today shows that their own MLAs are telling them the reason to leave is because the party has left Hindutva. Everyone knows that Raj Thackeray is a real pro-Hindu leader.”

Bhanushali also gave further advice to Eknath Shinde saying, “I am going to advise Eknath Shinde to check the MLAs intentions before accepting them. They are joining with the thought that it might benefit them now. But they might leave again if they don’t gain benefit or if Uddhav Thackeray shows some lure again.”
