Mumbai: Fatal Stabbing In Dadar East Leaves 27-Year-Old Youth Dead And Another Injured
Dadar, 3rd October 2023: A horrifying incident unfolded in the Khareghad Junction area of Dadar East as a 27-year-old youth, Chandu Devendra, lost his life in a brutal stabbing attack. The tragedy also left Chandu’s younger brother, Appu, aged 23, seriously injured. The police registered murder charges against two individuals in this case, one of whom is a minor.
Chandu Devendra, a resident of Antop Hill, became the victim of a longstanding feud with the two accused individuals. It is reported that the attackers, armed with a knife, targeted Chandu in a premeditated act of violence, leaving him gravely wounded.
Appu, the younger brother of Chandu, stepped in to rescue him during the assault. Tragically, Appu also sustained severe injuries inflicted by the assailants’ knife in this brawl.
Both Chandu and Appu were swiftly admitted to Lokmanya Tilak Hospital in Sion, where medical professionals tried hard to save Chandu’s life. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, Chandu succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment.
In the aftermath of this horrific incident, a case of attempted murder has been registered by the Matunga police, following a complaint filed by Appu. Sources indicate that one of the accused individuals involved in this case is a minor.
