Mumbai: Five People, Including Principal, Arrested For Leaking 12th Math Paper

Mumbai, 9th March 2023: Five persons, including a principal, have been arrested from Mumbai in connection with the 12th Mathematics question paper leak. It has come to light that after receiving the question paper at the examination centre, a photograph of the question paper was taken and sent through WhatsApp and sold for Rs 10,000 each. A case was registered at the Shivaji Park Police Station in this regard on the complaint of a teacher of Antonio D’Silva High School in Dadar.

The investigation by the crime branch revealed that the question papers received by the students from Dadar were received from the accused in the city. The police then arrested the accused principal along with two teachers, a driver and the school owner’s daughter.

The accused teacher used to take a photograph of the question paper at the examination centre and send it to the school. After that, these question papers were sold to the children. One of the accused used to send a photograph of the question paper to his 17-year-old sister. That question paper was later sold for 10 thousand rupees. The same question paper was sent to the students caught at the examination centre in Dadar.
