Mumbai: For Repair Work, Khardanda Crematorium Temporary Closure From August 10
Mumbai, 5th August 2022: A sad but eternal truth is that electric or gas-operated crematoriums along with traditional crematoriums are operated by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation at various locations to facilitate the cremation of the dead body after death.
Repair work of one of this cemetery, Khardanda cemetery in ‘H West’ section will be undertaken. Therefore, the said cemetery will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, August 10, 2022, for maintenance and other repair work, the information has been given by the ‘H West’ division of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
As an alternative arrangement for cremation, the crematorium at Santa Cruz in the ‘H West’ section will be available. The municipal administration apologizes for the inconvenience to the citizens.
