Mumbai: Local Train Delays On Central And Western Railways Due To Continuous Rains

Mumbai, 12th July 2022: Due to continuous rains in Mumbai since morning, locals on Central and Western Railways are running about 10 to 15 minutes late. Due to incessant rains and delays in running locals, many citizens of Mumbai have been delayed in reaching the office.

The torrential rains hit central and western suburban services. Motormen were having problems driving the trains due to heavy rains. As a result, the speed of the locals slowed down. As a result, locals are running late.

Up-down local on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) to Kalyan, Karjat, Kasara route on Central Railway is running 10 to 15 minutes, from CSMT to Panvel, and on Western Railway between Churchgate to Virar, Dahanu is running 5 to 10 minutes late.
