Mumbai: Man Arrested For Raping Four-Year-Old Girl

Mumbai, 30th October 2022: An incident took place in Borivali West where a 4-year-old girl was called to her neighbor’s home and sexually assaulted on the pretext of giving sweets.

On the complaint of the girl’s mother, the police registered a case on Friday and arrested a 22-year-old youth. The accused is a relative of the victim girl.

The incident came to light because the victim girl was suffering. When the victim’s mother asked her, she narrated the incident.

Accordingly, the mother filed a complaint against the 22-year-old accused at the police station. Accordingly, the police registered a case under the Prevention of Rape and Child Sexual Abuse Act on Friday.

According to the complaint, the accused invited the victim girl to his house with the lure of sweets and then sexually assaulted her. After the incident, the victim’s mother noticed the changed behavior of her daughter and asked her what was wrong. At that time, she told the incident by mentioning the name of the accused. Police are investigating further in this matter.
