Mumbai University Opens Admissions for IDOL; Online Applications Accepted Until 31st July
Mumbai, 14th June 2025: Mumbai University has officially commenced the admission process for its Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) for the academic year 2025-26. Prospective students can now submit their online applications for a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with the deadline for submission set for July 31.
The IDOL program offers flexible learning options across various disciplines, including BA, BCom, BSc IT, MA, MSc, and MBA. Eligibility criteria require candidates to have completed their 10+2 education for undergraduate programs and hold a bachelor’s degree for postgraduate courses. Admissions are primarily merit-based, though certain programs like MMS and MCA require entrance test scores.
To apply, candidates must visit the official IDOL portal, register as new users, fill out the application form with accurate personal and academic details, upload required documents, and pay the application fee online. The application fee ranges from INR 500 to INR 1,000, depending on the course and applicant category.
Mumbai University has advised all applicants to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. The university will announce further details regarding entrance exams and merit lists for specific courses on its official website.
