Mumbai: Various Nursery Class Admissions To Begin Today

Mumbai, 4th January 2023: The Mumbai Municipal Corporation’s CBSE, ICSE, IB and Cambridge IGCSE Board Schools Nursery Admission Process will start on Wednesday, 4th January. The online admission process will be conducted for the nursery from the 4th to the 22nd of January. From the last academic year (2021-22), the Education Department started the 11th CBSE and one ICSE school in municipal schools.

An ICSE school was started at Mahim’s Woolen Mill School. Along with these 12 schools, the first International Board of Education, i.e. ‘IB’ school of the Municipal Corporation, was started this year at the Municipal School on Dixit Road, Vileparle. Whereas, the ‘IGCSE’ board school affiliated with Cambridge University is located at L. Laxminarayan Road, Matunga. The admission process for nursery classes in these 14 schools is starting today, and more admission information has been made available on the website of the Municipal Corporation.

Since the opening of Central and International Board schools in Mumbai Municipal Corporation schools, the flow of students has increased tremendously. Children from economically backward families cannot go to these schools as they cannot afford the cost of private schools. Hence, Municipal Corporation’s CBSE, ICSE and International Board schools are getting great responses from parents. After applying online, the lottery is drawn. So parents are paying attention to this admission process.
