Navi Mumbai: Citizens Worried About Contaminated, Foul-Smelling, Muddy Water Supply In Kopar Khairane

Navi Mumbai, 31st March 2023: Residents of Shree Siddheshwar Owners Association and Omsai Owners Association of Kopar Khairane Sector 18 have been getting contaminated and inadequate water supply for the past few days. Due to this, citizens have had to endure vomiting, diarrhoea, and the smell of foul-smelling water in the last few days. Due to this, citizens are suffering from diseases like jaundice and stomach aches. There is a demand from citizens for a clean and sufficient water supply.

Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is famous for its dam. However, it is being pointed out repeatedly that contaminated water is being supplied to Gavthan and CIDCO colonies in the same city. In Kopar Khairane Sec.18, there has been a supply of polluted and foul-smelling water for the past few days. In many places, the water channels are in this underground area. Also, some water channels have passed along the drains, while some water channels have passed near Malini Saran channels.

As some water channels are leaking at this place, dirty water from the sewers is mixing with it. Due to this, the residents say that the city is getting contaminated water supply. Residents are expressing the opinion that citizens are suffering from jaundice and diarrhoea after drinking this foul-smelling contaminated water. Due to this, the health of citizens is in danger. The demand to take appropriate measures through the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Water Supply Department is getting stronger.

Kopar Khairane Sector 18 has been getting contaminated and foul-smelling water supply for the past few days. Drinking this water has threatened the health of citizens. A purified water supply should be found. Earlier water was coming for an hour, but now water is getting only for half an hour, and there is insufficient water supply; it should be fixed – Such a demand is being made by the residents.
