Navi Mumbai: MNS Activists Vandalize Office of Mahesh Jadhav Amidst Accusations Against Thackerays

Navi Mumbai, 11th January 2024: Tensions escalated in Navi Mumbai as activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) reportedly vandalized the office of Mahesh Jadhav, the State Vice-President of MNS and president of Marathi Kamgar Sena. The incident follows serious allegations made by Jadhav against MNS chief Raj Thackeray and Amit Thackeray.

The turmoil began when Mahesh Jadhav visited the Rajgad (MNS office) to address the demands of Mathadi workers on Tuesday. Jadhav alleged that during the meeting, Amit Thackeray and his colleagues physically assaulted him. In response, Jadhav made serious accusations against both Raj Thackeray and Amit Thackeray, broadcasting his grievances via Facebook Live.

Angry MNS activists reportedly broke into Jadhav’s office in Kamothe, Sector-7, and vandalized the premises. In the aftermath, the Kamothe Police registered a case against 30 individuals associated with the MNS, citing violations related to the vandalism. The police have initiated further proceedings in this case.

Jadhav, expressing fear for his safety, stated in the video that Raj and Amit Thackeray would be held responsible if anything untoward happened to him. Following the incident, Jadhav was admitted to Medicover Hospital in Kharghar for treatment.
