Alibaug, 10th January 2024: Renowned cricketer and former captain of the Indian team, Virat Kohli, has unveiled his newly constructed holiday home in Alibaug, a serene coastal town south of Mumbai, providing a peek into the couple’s vision for relaxation and peace. Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, have meticulously designed the house to reflect their values of family, tranquillity, and a retreat from the hectic pace of life.
Kohli emphasized the importance of creating a home away from home in their holiday property. Notably, the living room intentionally lacks a television or other entertainment sources, fostering an environment exclusively for conversations. Kohli, influenced by his own childhood experiences, values the ritual of having meals together as a family.
The cricketer shared the significance of Alibaug as a retreat, allowing them to escape the demands of their busy lives. While showcasing the outdoors as his favourite part of the house, Kohli acknowledged that he never fully disconnects during holidays due to his commitment to a fixed diet and training routine.

The home’s design also integrates biophilic principles, connecting occupants with nature.
Married since 2017, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, who have a daughter named Vamika, have created a holiday home in Alibaug that embodies their shared vision of a peaceful retreat aligned with their personalities and priorities.
