Pune: Water Supply To Kondhwa, Katraj, Bibwewadi To Be Temporarily Halted For Maintenance Work

Pune, 1st March 2024: Residents in several areas of South Pune, including Kondhwa, ISKCON Temple, Katraj, Bibwewadi, are set to face water supply disruption this Wednesday. The interruption is due to essential repair and relocation work on water pipes at Kanha Hotel on Kondhwa Road, Katraj, and Mahesh Society Chowk, Bibwewadi.

The Water Supply Department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has communicated that the temporary halt in water supply will commence on Wednesday and is expected to resume late on Friday morning. When the supply is restored, residents should anticipate lower water pressure.

The affected areas include Kondhwa Budruk, Upper Indiranagar locality, Sainagar, Gajanan Nagar, Kakade Vasti, Green Park, Rajiv Gandhinagar, Part of Super Indiranagar, ISKCON Temple area, Kondhwa Budruk Village, and many more.

This planned disruption is part of a maintenance operation aimed at ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the water supply system.

The Water Supply Department advises citizens to stay updated on the schedule and cooperate with the inconvenience caused by this essential maintenance work. Regular updates on the progress of the repair and restoration process will be made available by the department.
