Pune: Youth Brutally Murdered in Dehu Road’s Vikas Nagar, Gang Violence Suspected
Dehu Road, 6th March 2024: A youth named Vishal Vijay Thori was killed by a gang in Vikas Nagar under the jurisdiction of the Dehu Road Police Station, and the incident is believed to be the result of prior enmity.
The attack occurred around midnight on Wednesday, where Vishal Thori was assaulted by four to five individuals. The assailants used various objects, including an earthen pot, a cement block, and a wooden bamboo, to fatally beat him in the face.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Dehu Road Police promptly arrived at the scene. Four individuals have been detained in connection with the case. Preliminary investigations suggest that the murder was motivated by pre-existing animosity.
The police are in the process of registering a case at the Dehu Road Police Station, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
