Thane: Burglars Steal Mobiles Worth Rs 30 Lakh From Shop In Kalyan In Three Minutes
Kalyan, 28th March 2023: Burglars broke into a mobile phone shop at Ahilyabai Chowk of Wardli in the west of Kalyan at night and stole mobile phones worth Rs 30 lakh within three minutes. A similar incident happened in Kalyan East last week. Residents and traders are worried due to house burglaries and thefts from shops.
On the occasion of Gudi Padwa, stores often see large crowds. Hence, the mobile store owner had stocked several mobile phones in his shop.
As usual, on Sunday night, he closed the shop and went home. The next morning when he came to the shop, he found the iron entrance of the shop open. The theft was caught on the shop’s CCTV camera. Within three minutes, the burglars ran away with mobile phones worth Rs 30 lakh in a sack. Pawan Kumar has lodged a complaint at the market police station.
