Thane: Seven-Year-Old Child Dies After Drowning In Lake
Thane, 3rd September 2022: A seven-year-old boy drowned in an artificial lake made for the immersion of the Ganesha idol on Friday at Ambeghosale in Thane. The deceased child has been identified as Zahid Azhar Sheikh.
Zahid, a resident of Apna Nagar in Robodi, had come to swim in the artificial lake. But unable to predict, he went into deep water and drowned. Police reached the spot as soon as they got information about the incident but it was late for Zahid.
His body was recovered and sent to the government hospital for autopsy.
