Thane: Two Arrested For Stabbing Woman To Death

Thane, 9th January 2023: Two people were arrested on Sunday for reportedly stabbing a 22-year-old lady to death in the Thane district. According to inspector Sandeep Gite of the Kasara police station, the two suspects were apprehended in Bhiwandi town for allegedly killing the woman and disposing of her body in a village.

He claimed that on Friday night, the woman was discovered dead in a bush close to Kasara with numerous stab wounds. He stated that during the investigation, the police discovered the victim’s phone close to the body and were able to identify her. The official claimed that the authorities identified the suspect based on local CCTV footage.

The victim and one of the accused lived together, and the two frequently argued over small issues. The accused had taken the victim to a ride in Warlipada, in Karasar alongside his accomplice where she was stabbed to death.
