Two Groups Of Youths Storm At Each Other At Dattanagar Chowk

Dombivli, 2nd November 2022: At Duttnagar Chowk in Dombivli East on Tuesday night, two groups of youths were involved in a fight. Both groups beat each other mercilessly. Both groups have lodged conflicting complaints at the Ramnagar police station.

Police said Dipesh Bhanushali was standing with his friends eating Chinese food at Nilesh Chinese Corner in Duttnagar Chowk at 10:30 pm on Tuesday. At that time, Chinmoy Bhise, who lived in front of their house, was riding his friend’s bike. At that time, at the request of Bhise, the bike rider turned the bike back and came towards Dipesh and started abusing him.

Chinmoy went home to his uncle Prashant Sawardekar and brother Sagar, told them what happened, and brought them to the spot. Deepesh has said in the complaint that after a verbal exchange between Deepesh and Bhise, the three of them beat him together. Deepesh has filed a complaint against Chinmoy Bhise, Sagar Bhise, and Prakash Savardekar. Anil Bhise has complained at the police station that Dipesh Bhanushali and Sunil Nayak have beaten him up. Anil said in the complaint that when he went near him and asked how he was doing, he was beaten up by both of them.

Police have registered both cases and started an investigation. There are complaints from citizens of Dombivli regarding eateries and food stalls running late at night in various parts of the city with the blessing of the police while business is allowed in public places till 10 pm.
