Undre, Kirrtane, Kondkar, Gupte in line for double crown at the MSLTA Grand Slam Tennis Academy Championship series U-12 National Ranking Tennis Tournament

Pune, 21 April 2022: Smit Undre, Aryan Kirrtane, Ritsa Kondkar and Shibani Gupte place themselves in line for a double crown reaching the finals in the girls singles and doubles event respectively at the MSLTA Grand Slam Tennis Academy Championship series Under 12 Tennis Tournament which being organized by Grand Slam Tennis Academy Under the auspices of MSLTA and AITA and to be played at Natraj Tennis Courts, Karvenagar

In the semifinal round of boys event top seeded Smit Undre outplayed fourth seeded Aarav Patel 6-1, 6-1; he will now take unseeded Aaryan Kirrtane upset second seeded Varad Undre 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.

In the doubles event Smit partnering with Varad Undre beat Pruthviraj Dudhane and Adhiraj Dudhane 6-3, 6-4 to move to the final.

In the girls under 12 year event fourth seeded Ritsa Kondkar who breezed past eighth seeded Gouri Yale 6-2, 6-2; in the finals she will take on Shibani Gupte who got past Shravee Deore 2-6, 6-4, 7-5.
