Mumbai Local Mega Block on July 19: Main Line, Trans-Harbour Services to Be Affected; Several Express Trains Diverted

Mumbai, 17th July 2026: Mumbai Division of Central Railway will operate a mega block on its suburban sections on Sunday, July 19, 2026, to carry out engineering and maintenance works. The block will affect services on the Main Line and Trans-Harbour Line, with several suburban services cancelled and multiple Mail and Express trains diverted.

On the Main Line, a block will be taken on the 5th and 6th lines between Vidyavihar and Thane from 8.00 am to 1.30 pm.

During the block, the following Down Mail/Express trains will be diverted via the Down Fast Line at Vidyavihar and re-diverted to the 5th Line at Thane, resulting in an expected delay of 10 to 15 minutes:

Train No. 11055 LTT–Gorakhpur Express

Train No. 11061 LTT–Jaynagar Express

Train No. 16345 LTT–Thiruvananthapuram Netravati Express

Train No. 17222 LTT–Kakinada Port Express

The following Up Mail/Express trains will be diverted via the Up Fast Line at Thane and re-diverted to the 6th Line at Vidyavihar, with an expected delay of 10 to 15 minutes:

Train No. 11010 Pune–CSMT Sinhagad Express

Train No. 12124 Pune–CSMT Deccan Queen

Train No. 12134 Mangaluru–CSMT Express

Train No. 13201 Rajgir–LTT Express

Train No. 17221 Kakinada Port–LTT Express

Train No. 12126 Pune–CSMT Pragati Express

Train No. 22226 Solapur–CSMT Vande Bharat Express

Train No. 12168 Banaras–LTT Express

Train No. 12321 Howrah–CSMT Express

Train No. 12812 Hatia–LTT Express

On the Trans-Harbour Line, an Up and Down block between Thane and Vashi/Nerul will be in effect from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm.

During this period, all Up and Down Trans-Harbour services between Thane and Vashi, Nerul and Panvel will remain suspended.

The following suburban services will remain cancelled:

Down services from Thane to Vashi, Nerul and Panvel departing between 10.35 am and 4.07 pm.

Up services towards Thane departing from Panvel, Nerul and Vashi between 10.25 am and 4.09 pm.

According to Central Railway, the mega blocks are being undertaken to facilitate essential engineering and maintenance works aimed at maintaining railway infrastructure. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly on July 19.
