10 Per Cent Water Cut Tomorrow In Some Parts Of Mumbai

Mumbai, 8th March 2023: There will be a 10 per cent water cut for two days, from Thursday, in the city and eastern suburbs. This water cut will continue from 10 am on 9th March to 10 am on 11th March.

While the work of a new bridge by the Thane Corporation was going on near the Kopri bridge, it was noticed that the 2,345 mm diameter ‘Mumbai 2’ water channel of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation was damaged, and the water was leaking. The repair work of this channel will be taken up from 10 am on Thursday. This work will continue till 10 am on Saturday, 11th March. The repair work will result in a 10 per cent water cut in some areas of the eastern suburbs and city divisions.

Affected Area –

Eastern Suburbs: Mulund (East) and (West) Divisions, Bhandup, Nahur, Kanjurmarg, East Division at Vikhroli, Vikhroli (East), (East) and (West) Divisions at Ghatkopar, Kurla (East) Division, Deonar, Mankhurd, Govandi, Chembur.

City: BPT and Naval Complex, Dongri, Mashid Bandar, Byculla, Majgaon, Lalbagh, Paral, Wadala, Naigaon.
