Mumbai: Class 11 Admission Process Begins Today Across Maharashtra

Mumbai, 26th May 2025: The much-awaited Class 11 online admission process in Maharashtra began at 11 am today (26th May), after a brief delay caused by technical issues earlier this week. Students can now register, fill out personal details, and select college preferences on the official online portal.

This marks the first time the Directorate of Education has implemented a fully online admission system statewide. The process was initially launched on 21st May, following the declaration of Class 10 results, but was postponed due to technical disruptions. A revised schedule was released on 22nd May to address glitches and ensure a smoother experience for students.

According to the new timeline:

– Physical Application Submission (including Registration and College Preference): till 3rd June

– Provisional General Merit List: 5th June

– Final General Merit List: 8th June

– First Admission List: 10th June

– Admission To Allotted Colleges: 11th June – 18th June

The online form is divided into two parts. In Part 1, students have to fill out their personal and academic details with the assistance of their school and parents. In Part 2, students have to select and prioritize colleges based on their preferences, cutoff marks from last year, and their own Class 10 results.

After entering the seat number and exam details, the portal will auto-populate subject-wise marks, which students must verify before proceeding. The Directorate has urged students to exercise caution while selecting colleges, advising them to consider cutoffs, courses offered, reservation categories, language medium, and available subject combinations.

Colleges are also expected to display their indicator numbers and relevant details to help students make informed decisions. The Department has assured that all relevant information will be updated regularly on the official admission portal.
