Application Sale For 4,752 Houses Of Konkan Mandal From Wednesday
Mumbai, 5th March 2023: The Lottery for 4,752 houses of MHADA Konkan Mandal will be held on 10th May, and its advertisement will be released tomorrow, Monday (6th March). Also, MHADA announced that application sales and acceptance will be started on Wednesday, 8th March.
The draw schedule was fixed by the board after completing the draw preparation with many changes and a new computerized system. The draw was to be held on 11th April. However, the entire process was cancelled two days before the application sale began. MHADA vice-president Anil Diggikar had ordered the exclusion of 14 plots and some houses on the principle of ‘first come first served’, so the lottery had to be postponed. But now the draw date has been finalized. The advertisement of the draw will be released on Monday and the sale and acceptance of applications will start on Wednesday, informed the chief officer of the board, Maruti More.
Homes for whom?
– Low, medium and high groups.
– Covering a total of 4,752 houses.
– 984 out of 4,752 houses in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
– 1,554 houses in the 20 per cent scheme.
– Remaining houses included in MHADA housing scheme.
The draw covers 2,048 houses in Virar – Bolinj under the ‘First Come First Preference’ scheme. These houses belong to the small and medium groups. Their prices range between Rs 23 lakh and Rs 41 lakh. After many years, the ‘First Come First Preference’ scheme has been included in the Konkan Mandal draw. As these houses in Virar-Bolinj are not being sold, this solution has been planned. Application sale and acceptance of these houses will start from 17th March. The last date to apply by paying the deposit amount online as well as through ‘RTGS’ or ‘NEFT’ is April 12. The draft list of applicants will be released on April 27, while the final list will be released on May 4. After that, the draw will be held on May 10.
