Eknath Shinde Camp to stop at Goa on return from Guwahati

Guwahati/Mumbai, 29th June 2022: In the politics of Maharashtra, who is the ‘master’ of the state’s politics and who will get power, will be decided on Thursday.

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has asked CM Uddhav Thackeray to call a special session of the assembly tomorrow and conduct a floor test.

Meanwhile, the rebel Eknath Shinde faction of BJP and Shiv Sena also looks prepared. The Eknath Shinde faction has accepted the challenge of Shiv Sena to come to Chowpatty from Guwahati and has promised to reach Mumbai tomorrow.

Although the MLAs of the Eknath Shinde faction will not reach Mumbai directly but will stay in Goa today. According to news agency ANI, 70 rooms have been booked for the rebel MLAs in the Taj Resort Hotel.

According to sources, a decision has been taken to accommodate these MLAs at the Taj Hotel in Goa. After this, just before the no-confidence motion in the assembly tomorrow, the MLAs will reach the house and vote. Behind this is the strategy of Eknath Shinde camp and BJP to not let the MLAs reach before time so that Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray camp would not be able to influence the MLAs.

Meanwhile, the MLAs of the Eknath group have reached the Kamakhya temple to have darshan. It is being said that by this afternoon they can leave for Goa from Guwahati.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena has erupted over the Governor’s order to conduct a floor test. Senior party leader Sanjay Raut said that the Constitution is being flouted. These people are touring there, from Guwahati they will now come to Goa. Don’t know if they will come back to Mumbai or will see the mountains, rivers and good hotels there. When the rooms were booked for the MLAs in the hotel, he said that someone was paying for them.
