Man Dies After Attack Over Loud Music at New Year’s Eve Party in Thane
Thane, 3rd January 2025: A man succumbed to injuries after being attacked during a dispute over loud music at a New Year’s Eve party in Thane, on Thursday.
Raja Pariar, 24, was allegedly assaulted, along with another man, Vipul Rai, on the night of December 31 by residents of a MHADA housing complex in Thane’s Kashmira area. The residents reportedly took issue with the loud DJ music being played during the party.
Pariar passed away at a Mumbai hospital on Thursday, while Rai remains in critical condition. Several individuals have been detained in connection with the incident, and the Kashmira police have launched further investigation into the matter.
