Mumbai: Central Railway Announces 12 Special Trains for Dr. Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvana Day at Dadar.

Dadar, 4th December 2023: On the occasion of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvana Day, a significant influx of followers is anticipated at Chaityabhoomi Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak in Mumbai. With lakhs of devotees expected to converge from across India and the world, Central Railway has taken a crucial step to facilitate their travel. The railway authority has declared the operation of 12 special trains dedicated to followers making their way to Mumbai for this auspicious event, according to an official press release.

The special suburban trains are scheduled to run between Paral-Kalyan and Kurla-Panvel on December 5 and 6, with services available during midnight hours. All stations along the route will be covered by these special trains, ensuring convenient transportation for the devotees.

As per Central Railway’s information, the schedule for the special trains is as follows:

– Kurla-Paral Special train: Departs from Kurla at 12.45 pm, and reaches Paral at 01.05 pm.
– Kalyan-Paral special train: Departs from Kalyan at 01.00 pm, reaches Paral at 02.15 pm.
– Thane-Paral Special Train: Departs from Thane at 02.10 pm, and reaches Paral at 2.55 pm.
– Paral-Thane Special train: Departs from Paral at 01.15 pm, and reaches Thane at 01.55 pm.
– Paral-Kalyan special train: Departs from Paral at 02.25 pm, and reaches Kalyan at 03.40 pm.
– Paral-Kurla special train: Departs from Paral at 03.05 pm, and reaches Kurla at 03.20 pm.
– Vashi-Kurla Special train: Departs from Vashi at 01.30 pm, and reaches Kurla at 02.10 pm.
– Panvel-Kurla Special Train: Departs from Panvel at 01.40 am, and reaches Kurla at 02.45 am.
– Vashi-Kurla special train: Departs from Vashi at 03.10 pm, and reaches Kurla at 03.40 pm.
– Kurla-Vashi special train: Departs from Kurla at 02.30 pm, and reaches Vashi at 03.00 pm.
– Kurla-Panvel Special Train: Departs from Kurla at 03.00 pm, and reaches Panvel at 04.00 pm.
– Kurla-Vashi special train: Departs from Kurla at 04.00 pm, and reaches Vashi at 04.35 pm.

The railway administration has urged passengers to ensure they possess valid tickets to avoid any inconvenience during their travel.
