Mumbai: Exhibition To Be Organised At Vikhroli, Goregaon, Lower Paral During Fire Service Week

Mumbai, 30th March 2023: Keeping in view the increase in fire accidents in the last few days and the new challenges arising due to it, the Mumbai Fire Brigade will display posters of various demonstrations on the occasion of Fire Service Week to be conducted from 14th to 20th April. At the same time, Mumbaikars will get a chance to see the materials of the fire brigade in this exhibition. This exhibition will be organized at Vikhroli, Goregaon, and Lower Paral.

With the motto ‘Shauryam Atmasanyamanam Tyaga’, Mumbai Fire Force will pay tribute to the martyrs of the Fire Force at Byculla headquarters on 14th April at 8.30 am as part of the Service Week. On this occasion, in the week of 14th to 20th April, various competitions, demonstrations, exhibitions, road marches and prize distribution ceremonies will be organized by the fire brigade.

On April 14th and 15th, the fire brigade will put up posters of various demonstrations as well as an exhibition of fire brigade materials at RCT Mall, Vikhroli. Citizens will get to see the latest equipment used by firemen in the event of an accident. A similar exhibition will be held on 16th and 17th April at Oberoi Mall in Goregaon, followed by Phoenix Mall in Lower Paral on April 18 and 19. This exhibition is open to all, and citizens can visit the exhibition till 5 pm.

The Fire Service Safety Week will be concluded on April 20 at the ground of Mumbai University, Kalina Santacruz. The winning teams and jawans of various competitions conducted by the fire brigade will be felicitated with prizes in this event.
