Mumbai: MSRTC To Operate 250 Extra Buses For Konkan During Holi

Mumbai, 7th February 2023: Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has decided to release 250 extra buses in addition to the regular buses to avoid inconvenience to those going to Konkan on the occasion of Holi.

MSRTC Managing Director Shekhar Channe informed that these buses will run on the Konkan route between 3rd March and 12th March. Meanwhile, the corporation has also appealed that the passengers should travel in ST buses for safe travel.

Along with Ganeshotsav, the festival of Holi is also celebrated with great enthusiasm in Konkan. Lakhs of people from Mumbai go to their respective villages in Konkan for this festival. Therefore, the number of passengers increases to a great extent during this festival. ST is ready to avoid inconvenience to such passengers, and the corporation has decided to release 250 extra buses this year. These extra buses will be released from Mumbai Central, Paral, Kurla, Borivali, Thane, Vasai, Nalasopara and Panvel bus stations to Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sawantwadi, Malvan, among other regions.
