Navi Mumbai: Four-Year-Old Tribal Boy Bitten By Snake; Timely Treatment Saves His Life

Navi Mumbai, 8th March 2023: Ganesh Baban Katkari, a four-year-old boy from the tribal village of Chirner in the taluka, was bitten by a Manyar snake (Common Krait) on Monday. His life has been saved due to timely treatment.

After the snake bite, he was rushed to the MGM Hospital in Navi Mumbai with the help of Ramesh Foferkar, a sitting member of Chirner Gram Panchayat and social activist Sridhar Mokal.

Since Holi was on Monday, he went to the Holi puja with his mother around 8:30 at night. At that time, he was bitten by the snake.

The doctors immediately started proper treatment on the boy, who was in an unconscious state. The boy is recovering and will be discharged soon.
