Nitin Gadkari’s Big Claim Amid Rising Inflation, Said – Petrol Will be Banned in The Next 5 Years

Akola, 8th July 2022: Rising fuel prices in the country have broken the back of the common man. Inflation has also reached record highs. Therefore, even if the price of fuel is reduced by even two rupees, the common man gets a big relief.

 

Meanwhile, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has given a big statement on Thursday. Amidst the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel in the country, he has said that petrol will be eliminated from the country in the next five years. It will be banned.

 

Nitin Gadkari was speaking as the Chief Guest at the 36th Convocation of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural University in Akola on Thursday. On this occasion, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was honored with the title of ‘Doctor of Science’ by the Agricultural University. The program was presided over by the Governor and the Chancellor of the University, Bhagat Singh Koshyari.

 

Gadkari said that now bio-ethanol made in Vidarbha is being used in vehicles. Green hydrogen can be made from well water and can be sold for Rs 70 per kg. Gadkari said that the country will run out of petrol in the next five years. He said that no farmer can change his future just by planting wheat, rice and maize. He said that farmers need to become energy providers and not just food providers.

 

Ethanol saves Rs 20,000 crore,

Gadkari said a decision on ethanol has saved the country Rs 20,000 crore. In the near future, two-wheelers and four-wheelers will be based on green hydrogen, ethanol and CNG.

 

He also said that there are plans to export cotton from Vidarbha to Bangladesh, which requires the cooperation of universities. The university can do a lot to prevent farmer suicides in Vidarbha.
