Pune: Lokmanya Tilak National Appellate Court Competition Concluded with Enthusiasm at Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College of DES

Pune, 1st March 2024: Lokmanya Tilak National Appellate Moot Court Competition was organized on 23rd and 24th February 2024 at Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College of Deccan Education Society. The competition was inaugurated on 23rd February 2024 on the occasion of the inauguration, renowned lawyer and advocate Umakant Patil of Bombay High Court was present as the president of the programme.

The Vice President of Deccan Education Society and Chairman of College Development Committee Adv. Ashok Palande, Secretary of Deccan Education Society Dhananjay Kulkarni, and Principal of SNFLC Dr. Sunita Adhav were all present for the competition.
A total of 20 law colleges from the entire nation participated in the Lokmanya Tilak National Apellate moot court competition.
Shankarrao Chavhan Law College (SCLC) bagged the 1st place and GR Kare College Of Law was a deserving runner-up team.

The program concluded at the Navalmal Firodiya Law College Court room. On the occasion of the event, prizes were distributed by Smt. Anjali Apte, Retired District and Sessions Judge.

The program was organized by Moot Court Coordinators Prof. Kaveri Deo, and Prof. Madhura Apte, along with Student Coordinators Esha, Akshat, Aryan and Shambhavi.
The college was being well appreciated at all levels for this grand initiative. On the closing occasion, Smt. Anjali Apte (Retired District and Session Court Judge) asserted her views on the performance and organisation of the moot court competition.

Around 160+ student volunteers helped in organizing the said Moot Court Competition. The college faculty and a large number of students offered assistance in making the Lokmanya Tilak National Apellate moot court competition a huge success.
