These 3 TTEs From Pune Division Contribute Rs 3.45 Crore Revenue in Crackdown on 40000 Ticketless Travelers

Pune, 16th March 2024: In a commendable display of dedication and integrity, three Ticket Checking Examiners (TTEs) from the Pune Division have collectively contributed a staggering Rs 3.5 crore in revenue over the past year, stemming from fines imposed on 45,000 ticketless travelers.

N. N. Telang, serving as the Head Ticket Checking Examiner (HDTTE) for Pune Division, stands out with an impressive earning of Rs. 1,25,60,125/- from 14,827 cases of ticketless, irregular traveling, and unbooked luggage between April ’23 to Feb ’24. His unwavering commitment to maintaining the integrity of railway services serves as a testament to his dedication.

Following closely behind, Manisha Chakane, also an HDTTE in Pune Division, has set a stellar example by collecting earnings of Rs. 1,10,75,705/- from 11,864 similar cases during the same period. Her contribution underscores the importance of upholding fair travel practices.

Additionally, Rupali Gadhave, a TTE within the Pune Division, has demonstrated exceptional diligence by collecting earnings of Rs. 1,09,02,825/- from 12,384 cases of ticketless and irregular travel. Her commitment to ensuring fair travel practices is truly commendable.
