Long March by Cockroach Janta Party in Pune Tomorrow Over NEET Row

Pune, 23rd July 2026: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) will take out a long march in Pune on Friday in support of its ongoing agitation at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, where protesters have been demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET paper leak.

According to the organisers, the march will begin at 3 pm from Shaniwar Wada and proceed through Kumbhar Wada, Juna Bazar Chowk and Maldhakka Chowk before concluding at the District Collector’s office.

The Pune march is being organised to express solidarity with the protesters in Delhi. The agitation has drawn support from across the country, with several public figures, including Bollywood personalities, reacting after police allegedly used force against protesters during the July 20 demonstration.

Meanwhile, the Prakash Ambedkar-led Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi has called for a Maharashtra bandh on July 23 (Thursday) in support of the agitation and the protesters’ demands.

The protesters are seeking Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over the alleged irregularities in the NEET examination, Rs 1 crore compensation for the families of aspirants who allegedly died by suicide in connection with the paper leak controversy, and withdrawal of cases registered against those booked during the July 20 protest in Delhi.
