Navi Mumbai, 13th April 2024: A case has been filed by the Navi Mumbai police against a man for allegedly defrauding 27 individuals of Rs 2.24 crore by falsely offering them security guard positions at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The victims neither received the promised jobs nor refunds. The accused, Sadanand Bhosale from Airoli, is facing charges of cheating and breach of trust.

From September 2020 to September 2021, Bhosale collected the funds from the victims to secure them jobs at the RBI. The victims later filed a complaint when the promised employment did not materialize.

The Kharghar police took initial action by filing charges against Bhosale, and the Crime Branch Unit III of the Navi Mumbai police has since taken over the investigation. The reason for the delayed police report was not specified.
