Mumbai: Customer Hospitalized After Shocking Discovery in Veg Meal from BBQ Nation
Mumbai, 17th January 2024: In a distressing incident, a customer identified as Rajeev Shukla from Prayagraj (UP) faced a nightmarish experience after discovering a dead mouse in his vegetarian meal from BBQ Nation in Worli, Mumbai. The incident occurred during his consumption of Dal Makhani, leading to severe health concerns and a subsequent 75-hour hospitalization.
Expressing his outrage, Rajeev Shukla promptly filed a complaint against the owner, manager, and chef of BBQ Nation at Nagpada Police Station. The complaint details the shocking discovery and highlights the health repercussions that necessitated hospitalization. As of now, no FIR has been officially filed in connection with the case.

BBQ Nation responded to the incident with an official statement, vehemently refuting the customer’s claim. According to the statement, the restaurant conducted an internal investigation and found no lapses on their part. The statement further mentioned that an inspection by the relevant authorities also did not reveal any instances of contamination or pest-related issues. BBQ Nation has pledged full cooperation with any further inspections or audits by concerned authorities.
