Mumbai: Indiscriminate Firing By Person On Two-Wheeler In Kandivali, One Killed And Three Injured

Mumbai, 1st October 2022: One person was killed and three others were injured in the firing that took place in Kandivali during the night. The initial information said that this firing was caused by an internal dispute. The police informed that two youths who came on a two-wheeler opened fire around 12:15 am.

DCP Vishal Thakur of Zone 11 informed that “We received information that two people on a bike fired at some people at around 12:15 am in Kandivali. One person died and three others have been injured during this firing. Further investigation is underway regarding this matter.”

Police suspect that the shooting was sparked by an old dispute. The deceased person during this firing has been identified as Ankit Yadav. It is also said that the shooter and the victim knew each other. According to preliminary information, the accused fired a total of four shots.

According to DCP Vishal Thakur, the accused had come on a two-wheeler. After firing, they absconded from the spot. Meanwhile, the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police are investigating further in this matter.
