Veermata Jijabai Bhosle Park and Zoo has been renovated and various birds and animals have been brought to this place. A penguin exhibition has also been created along with it. Therefore, this zoo has become a rightful attraction for tourists not only from Mumbai but also from all over the country, especially for children. The zoo, which was closed during the Covid period as an infection prevention measure, has become a major tourist attraction after the end of the Covid restrictions. It is consistently proven by the increasing number of visitors and the accompanying increase in revenue generation. There is a huge increase in the number of people visiting these parks and zoos, especially during weekends and public holidays.
Interestingly, a separate ticket window was made available for women to avoid any inconvenience as a record number of tourists were entering. Also, the crowd was properly controlled by appointing fifteen additional security guards. Also, the main entrance was temporarily closed twice as a concern while managing the tourists. So, even with the increase in the number of tourists, the zoo officials and employees have taken care that everyone can see the birds, animals, and the park in a very proper way.
